Samantha : Registered Dental Hygienist
I was born in Arlington Heights and graduated from Harper College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I am very passionate about my dental career. My interest in dentistry began as a teenager when I had my braces removed, and I was fascinated by the substantial positive improvements dentistry can provide in the right hands. In the years that followed, I realized that the link between oral health and systemic health is substantial, and I wanted to be a part of this as a career. I am very excited to bring my enthusiasm for quality, personalized dental care to every patient.
I enjoy running and watching sports (love the Cubs). I enjoy reading fiction novels and traveling. Some of my favorite places I’ve visited include Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. I enjoy talking to patients about their travel experiences and look forward to providing you with outstanding care and attention!
Jami : Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated from Harper College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I am very passionate about my dental career. My interest in dentistry began in a dental office near my hometown of St. Charles. In the years that followed, I gained experience in all areas of dental practice, including front desk, dental assisting, and, of course, I became a Registered Dental Hygienist. I am very excited to bring my enthusiasm for quality, personalized dental care to each patient.
I enjoy running, especially with Max, my German Shepherd, and I love reading mystery novels and hanging out with family and friends. I spend a lot of my free time relaxing and enjoying Forest Lake.
Pam : Registered Dental Hygienist
I was raised in Park Ridge and went on to the University of Iowa, where I graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts, and majored in Dental Hygiene. I am lucky to have made this practice my dental home for most of my career. Not only do I enjoy providing excellent care to each of my patients, but I also truly cherish the relationships that we have cultivated together. Giving back is important to me, so on my Fridays off, I help run a food pantry that serves those in need in the community. I reside in Crystal Lake with my husband and two wonderful children.
Sabina : Registered Dental Hygienist
Sabina was born in Poland, and her college education was in Psychology. However, after moving to Chicago with her husband, Sabina immediately began working in dental practices. She has worked in nearly all areas of dentistry, but has always been a fastidious person and knew dental hygiene was the perfect career for her. A lover of art, she is a member of the Chicago Art Museum and particularly appreciates works by Vincent van Gogh. Even though red wine can stain the teeth, food and wine are among her passions.
In her free time, Sabina enjoys skiing, biking, walking, and traveling. Family is important to Sabina, and her two boys, Niko and Jacob, make life even more fun in Rolling Meadows, where her family currently resides.
Maureen : Office Coordinator
I was born in the north side of Chicago, and my management career started in retail as a General Manager. After over a decade of retail management, I took the plunge to work for a dentist in Evanston who was opening her very own practice. Being part of a brand new practice, I was able to learn the intricacies of a dental practice, both administrative and clinical. It was a perfect marriage of my previous management experience and my belief in the importance of optimal oral health! Supporting patients is my passion, and I look forward to being a positive part of your dental experience in our practice.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our kids, which includes a son going to college in California, a daughter going to college in Colorado, and a teenage son. When I’m not with my family, I love doing hot yoga, strength training, and bootcamp exercises, and anything that keeps me moving and physically healthy.
Ashley : Treatment Coordinator
I have been in the dental field for over 10 years with most of my experience focused on orthodontics as both an assistant and treatment coordinator. Dentistry has always fascinated me, and I love that there’s always something new to learn. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is helping patients feel comfortable and cared for-from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. I truly enjoy building meaningful connections and being part of a team that creates confident and healthy smiles. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, and I have a passion for floral arranging & anything arts & craft related!
Nancy : Patient Reception Coordinator
I joined Dr. Engelberg’s team in 2017 and enjoy welcoming patients to the practice, coordinating appointments, and helping patients feel comfortable and at home in our excellent dental office. I believe dental care is important for everyone’s overall health. I truly enjoy seeing individuals and families maintain optimum oral health, and of course, relish sharing in the excitement patients have once they’ve received their beautiful smiles!
My husband and I enjoy the outdoors. We are routinely biking, walking, and we also love to travel. We enjoy the company of our three children and five grandchildren, who range from preschool age through college. We are fortunate that our family lives nearby, and we strive to always be involved and have a meaningful and positive impact on their lives.
Roxana : Dental Assistant
I have been working as a Dental Assistant for over 27 years and joined Dr. Engelberg’s practice in 2013. I also have experience assisting in Orthodontics and cross-trained on the administrative side of a dental practice.
I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy working in an atmosphere that is always striving to be on the cutting edge of dental technology while delivering the highest level of treatment. I am energetic and enthusiastic about dentistry and always willing to go the extra mile for our patients. My versatility and attention to detail make me a valuable member of our team.
Gosia : Dental Assistant
I have been a dental assistant for over 15 years. I am so happy you have found us for many reasons, but mainly because in our office, we provide very high-quality dentistry, from fillings, making crowns in the office in one day, to making beautiful veneers. I have been working for Dr. Engelberg since 2007, and through the years I’ve realized how much great dentistry can improve your overall oral health, and at the same time can change your life forever! Dentistry is not the only passion I have. A few years ago, I became a certified Esthetician. Although these fields are different, they both make people happy to smile with great results.
You might ask if this girl has any free time. Yes, I do! I love to cook, enjoy yoga, experience new restaurants, and spend time with my family and friends.
